Excerpt of the Regulation
 The Scuderia Tricolore of Reggio Emilia, holder of the license no. 308860, organises from 12 to 15 April 2012, the international historic regularity rally called:
Terre di Canossa
International Classic Cars Challenge
The total distance of the rally is km 550 as will be described in the Itinerary and in the Road Book.
The Itinerary will also give the timetable for the Regularity Trials.
There will be 70 regularity time trials, 11 time checks and 3 passage checks.
The start will be given in the Reggio Emilia from 9.00 on Friday 13/Apr/2012.
The arrival of the first leg will be in Forte Dei Marmi, from 17.00 on Friday 13/Apr/2012.
The arrival of the second leg will be at MIT, from 17.00 on Saturday 14/Apr/2012.
The finish line will be at Reggio Emilia, from 13.00 on Sunday 15/Apr/2012.
Entries must be submitted using the online registration process, or by sending the paper form to the Scuderia Tricolore, accompanied by a fee of € 2,800.00 which includes sport fee and full hospitality for the crew.
Cars eligible to participate must be manufactured from 1919 to 1975
The maximum number of cars admitted is 100. Cars to be accepted for participation will be decided by the Organising Committee at its sole discretion.
The cars must be accompanied with one of the following documents:

FIA HTP (Historic Technical Passport FIA)

FIVA Identity Card
-
FIA vintage cars regularity pass
-
ACI-CSAI Fiche for historic regularity rallies
-
CSAI HTP (Historic Technical Passport CSAI)
-
ASI Certificate of Approval or Identity Card
-
Certificate of membership in the National Historic Register AAVS
The following classifications will be issued:
-
Overall classification;
-
Category classification;
-
Top Driver classification;
-
Teams;
-
Female Crews;
-
Foreign Crews, by nation.
For the purpose of the Category Classification, the cars will be grouped into the following categories:
-
Category: cars manufactured from 1919 to 1930;
-
Category: cars manufactured from 1931 to 1946;
-
Category: cars manufactured from 1947 to 1961;
-
Category: cars manufactured from 1962 to 1975.
The penalty points imposed for the worst regularity trial of each crew will be cancelled.
The total of the resulting penalties, expressed in points, will be multiplied by the coefficient linked to the manufacturing year of the cars according to the following formula (1 + manufacturing year / 100).
Example:

Car built in 1935
-
Car coefficient: (1 + 35 / 100) = 1.35
-
Penalties imposed to the crew: 100
-
Final points: 100 x 1.35 = 135
The crew having obtained the lowest number of penalty points will be declared the winner.
Honour prizes will be awarded to:

the first 10 crews classified in the overall classification;
-
the first 3 crews classified in each category classification;
-
the first crew classified in each other classification;
-
the first team.
For anything not mentioned in this regulations, please refer to the CSAI National Rules for classic regularity rallies as reported in the N.S. 23 chapter, downloadable from the C.S.A.I. website.
By entering the rally, each entrant, for himself and his drivers, co-drivers, employees and agents, recognizes and accepts the provisions of the National Sporting Code (along with its extra) and the regulations of the event which will be published on the website.
