December 13 2011 - Rally's first leg in Forte dei Marmi
The route of Friday the 13th of April has just been defined. It leads to Forte dei Marmi, one of the most beatiful seaside resorts in Versilia, that lies between the sea and the Alpi Apuane mountains.
After a group of time trials in Piazza Marconi, the famous circular square in the heart of the city, the second day of race will end by the sea with a beach party at Bambaissa, a prestigious bathing establishment renowned for its delicious seafood. Then, the participants will relax in the best hotels of the city, including the "Five stars" partners of Terre di Canossa: Grand Hotel Imperiale and Hotel Augustus.
The stops in Parma and Reggio Emilia have been confirmed to, as well as other highlights of the 2011 route:
- two passes on the Appennini: Lagastrello and Centro Croci
- lunches in the mountains in Borgotaro and Pietra di Bismantova
- the wonderful drive in Cinque Terre
