Terre di Canossa 2012: from 12 to 15 April 2012
Roads, Landscapes & Lifestyle.
These three words represent the essence of our "Great Event".
Roads: the thousand year old roads of Matilde di Canossa, where the 70 time trials -the new record in Italy for this kind of rallies- will take place.
Landscapes: the wonderful landscapes that participants will be able to see, from the "Great River" to the sea. Cultural and artistic cities on the Via Emilia, untouched mountain passes, enchanting hamlets, green vineyards overlooking the sea of the Cinque Terre.
There will be no time trials in the most beautiful parts of the route.
Lifestyle: Emilia is worldwide known as the "motor valley" (Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Dallara,...), but it's also a region of great culinary tradition, where people have developed a refined style of life, untainted by the mass tourism of the most famous cities like Rome or Venice.
The three soiree in the programme will offer the best of the three cities, with star rated chefs and exclusive locations (no "dinner in hotel"!).
Classic cars up to 1975 are eligible. Pre war cars are welcome: there will be a dedicated special ranking.
4 days, 3 nights, a 550 km route.
